Giving the users the ability to create custom modules with a simple built-in programming language would be great.

Nikolozi I will 100% give you my first born if we could ever create modules in app. I'm with Said van Hattum on this one -- but mainly Max! Either way, I'd kill to see this.

tristan so would you prefer a visual approach like Max /PD or a simple programming language to create custom modules? For low-level stuff, I find writing code much more expressive and concise than arranging blocks and connecting them (it gets quite messy quickly).

Nikolozi I suppose as long as there's proper documentation, I wouldn't really mind either way. I'm used to Max/PD but not opposed to other styles of coding. I've never "written" a line of code in my life so the idea is a little daunting. But your help messages are great throughout Mela, so if they extended to the coding environment I think it could work great.
This would be so amazing.
