Mark: This feature could be useful even for the existing MIDI Capture module. Or maybe the MIDI Looper module will simply replace the MIDI Capture.
What a great suggestion. I would like to add that the addition of a piano roll (no matter how simple) would be major and would replace the need of several apps inside of aum or loopy pro (h micheal has said midi looping is coming in the future) furthermore it would make mela 4 a lot more useable in standalone mode to noodle with motifs, melodies or crazy baselines especially in combination with the already great midi modules!
Include an always recording feature, so you can tap to capture the last x bars just entered. As an example, ableton note does this great.
