Tempo Synced Envelope

Hi! Couldn't yet find this among the requests but it would be super handy if the Attack, Decay and Release times of the envelope could be set in 'beat divisions' which would make it easier to create sounds that adapt to the tempo. The 'time' for Attack, Decay & Release could range from 1/128t to 16 bars or something similar. Cheers!

Thanks for adding this. It's needed :) The way I imagine this would work is there will be a parameter that would set the grid size. And then Attack, Decay and Release would be defined in terms of grid size. This is because I think, most of the time you would want segments to be comparable. For example, rather than thinking attack = 1/16 and then release = 4 bars. Would be nicer to say, if grid = 1/16, then the attack = 1 unit and release = 32 units. This will also give you full flexibility, attack = 5/16 and decay = 11/16. Then you can have a UI for this that snaps to the grid. And with this type of design, this could be extensible to be a multi-segmented envelope. Anyway, these are just random thoughts, obviously haven't thought through all the details.

Nikolozi: Exactly! This would make it easier to create various sounds that fade in for a period of x bars or so or fade out over x bars etc.
