Hey Eugen Strukov, I get the frustration, but some tasks do take me 2-3 years to get to them after the request has been made. But you can be certain I haven't taken any break from working on Mela. There are so many feature requests and issues to resolve all the time. I can't make promises in advance when I get to any one feature request. I usually decide what are the next most important thing to work on and focus on that. Currently, it's Grouping and Sublanes, which requires a lot of internal and user-facing work. **3 aspects help me decide if I'll work on the feature next:** 1. Is it the next most important thing for Mela's long-term vision? 2. Do many users want the feature? 3. How easy is it to implement? For WTO it goes something like this: 1. WTO is an important module to have, but IMO it's not the next most important thing. 2. Super popular. 3. Not easy, it would require quite a bit of internal work. Sometimes, when something is easy to do, somewhat popular and makes Mela better overall I may implement it sooner rather than later. That's why you may see modules added that don't seem as important as WTO. For example, I recently added the Note Pulse Module, which took me only a day. On the other hand, I've been working on sublane/grouping stuff for 5 months now, and it's still not done.

WT import would be great. I don't need to see the waveform in 3D, I imagine that would be resource heavy? Perhaps optional? An option to resample your current patch into a WT would be sick.

Maybe make a 3d wavetable? It’s consist for example 8 tables 8x8 with smooth morphing between waves in table and between tables. It’s realised in eurorack module Piston Honda mk2/mk3.
WaveTable/Impaulsives import and able to shape the waveform and another separate option like PolyWave where we can maybe draw in a waveform 👍🏼
This would be another nice addition! Most important for me would be a selection of wavetables with natural-sounding formant progressions similar to acoustic instruments, and smooth indexing/morphing through the tables when modulated by breath or other CCs.
Any news? Soon the idea will be 2 years old, But there is still no WT :-(
