West coast Synthesis modules

Hello, I think Mela could be made even more useful with the addition of a few west coast synthesis modules, namely: a buchla style LPG: "The term "Low Pass Gate" was created by Don Buchla and stands for a module that can be switched between low pass and VCA. The control (manually and via external CV) is responsible for frequency in the low pass mode and for loudness in the VCA mode. Additionally a combined mode LP+VCA is available. In this mode the sound becomes more dull as the loudness decreases." In terms of sound and use, they are amazing for percussion sounds, wooden and plucky sounds, simulating the natural decay of real instruments, makes nice bass sounds etc. The most know sound is the 'buchla bongo' sound which is based on a LPG and a complex FMed sound. It is not really the same as just using a vca and filter becuase of a special component called a vactrol. Vactrols use a led light to control cvs. The result being that there is a fast attack but a rounded and decaying slew to the fall. Thanks!!!
